“Live With Purpose” is the theme for 2024
National Wreath Across America Day is Dec 14, 2024
Remember - Honor - Teach
The WAA theme “Live with Purpose” is really a mindset for every individual. We should all strive each day to Live with Purpose to make this world a better place for all.
Alta Vista Cemetery Gainesville has been added as a second location we can select to send wreaths. When ordering wreaths online, you will see a box with “Location Support”. It will show Georgia National Cemetery. If you click on the upside-down pyramid, a drop-down box will appear with Alta Vista Cemetery. Just click on it. This cemetery’s WAA designation is GAAVCG.
Georgia Mountain Chapter’s goal is 275 wreaths. The WAA Matching Wreath Promotion got us off to a good start with 86 wreaths toward our goal. Remember you can order wreaths anytime of the year. Today if you like!
Wreaths Across America’s mission is to:
Remember - The Fallen
Honor - Those Who Serve
Teach - The Value of Freedom

Our normal monthly meeting includes lunch and business to get all the good works of the Chapter done, and often a guest speaker. We normally meet the third Thursday of the month at the Golden Corral in Cumming at 1130. Our December meeting, in a different venue, is a semi-formal dinner and an exciting Silent Auction that is great fun. We do not meet in Jun, Jul, or Aug.
Join us to be a part of doing good things for past, present, and future members of the uniformed services of the USA.
