Wreaths Across America
This Dec.14th, Wreaths Across America volunteers placed 3 million wreaths to Honor Veterans at 4909 locations. One location is the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Visit there this month, to see how beautiful these Red Bow wreaths look in person.
Also, Wreaths Across America has started their 2025 "MATCHING WREATH CAMPAIGN." This campaign means that for every Wreath we sponsor, WAA will match it with another wreath. This early Matching Wreath Campaign helps us reach our Year End Goal number, which is again 270 wreaths. The Matching Wreath Campaign has started and goes through Jan. 17, 2025. Please sponsor a wreath so we can get a great start to reach our 2025 goal. Just click on the link below. This takes you to GMC webpage at WAA. Follow the instructions to sponsor a wreath.

MOAA now provides an excellent service to all members to allow us to stay informed about all the legislative initiatives that MOAA is tracking closely. You are encouraged to log in and register in the action center in order to have full access to this new service. This is a secure service contracted for by MOAA but uses another log in than your MOAA account to provide the legislative focus and tools you will find there. Come meet with us!
Our normal monthly meeting includes lunch and business to get all the good works of the Chapter done, and often a guest speaker. We normally meet the third Thursday of the month at the Golden Corral in Cumming at 1130. Our December meeting, in a different venue, is a semi-formal dinner and an exciting Silent Auction that is great fun. We do not meet in Jun, Jul, or Aug.
Join us to be a part of doing good things for past, present, and future members of the uniformed services of the USA.
